From PJ to Rudy: A Craney Hill Puppy Begins His New Adventure

There’s something incredibly special about watching one of our puppies head off to begin their new life, and today’s highlight is one that left all of us smiling. Our Chance x Betty puppy — known here as PJ — has officially started his next chapter as Rudy, with a wonderful family from Indiana.

When Mr. Chris first called to inquire about a Craney Hill puppy, we could hear the excitement and sincerity in his voice. We knew right away this was going to be a great match.

When we met up, the truck door opened and out popped two adorable young girls, eager to meet the new puppy. Moments like that… they remind us exactly why we love what we do. Watching families connect with their new pup is pure magic.

Moments like these remind us why we pour so much love, time, and intention into our breeding program. Seeing a family connect instantly with a puppy we’ve raised from his very first breath… it truly never gets old. These dogs are more than pedigrees and potential — they’re future memories, hunting adventures, loyal companions, and lifelong friends.

Rudy settled into their arms as if he already knew he belonged there. Watching him leave with Mr. Chris and his daughters wasn’t a goodbye for us, but the beginning of a new story we can’t wait to follow. We know this little guy will bring years of joy, adventure, and unconditional love to his new family.

We wish Mr. Chris and his family many joyful, adventure-filled years with Rudy. He’s a special one — and he’s right where he belongs. Just look at these photos!!
