Flush is a Chance x Tilly pup who has officially landed right where he belongs — with his forever family in Iowa.
A Perfect Match
Casey and Jessica are true Springer enthusiasts. Flush is the third (or maybe fourth!) Craney Hill Spaniel they’ve welcomed into their lives. Their most recent dog from us was Shannon, the final puppy from our beloved Dixie. This makes Flush’s story feel like a continuation of something special.
Flush went home at the perfect time, just as hunting season was kicking off. Casey is one of those rare people who truly lives to hunt with his dogs. Every mile, every bird, every moment matters to him. When we told him Flush was in a great place with his training and all he needed now was a full season of hunting, Casey just smiled and said, “I can do that.”
And that’s exactly why Flush is right where he belongs.
We’re incredibly grateful to Casey and Jessica for loving and caring for our Craney Hill Spaniels. They give them the kind of life we hope for — running the prairies, doing what they were bred to do, and coming home to family at the end of the day. 🤎
This Is Why We Do What We Do
Dogs like Flush remind us why we pour so much into our breeding and training programs. Seeing our dogs running the prairies, doing the work they were bred for, and coming home to people who truly value them — that’s the goal.
Flush couldn’t be in a better place. We can’t wait to see the memories he creates for many years to come.
🐾 Why Our Dogs Go Home Ready
At Craney Hill, our Spaniels aren’t rushed — and they aren’t handed off unprepared.
From the very beginning, each Spaniel is raised with intention. They are exposed to new environments and started on the foundation skills that matter most for a future gun dog. We focus on confidence, bird exposure, natural drive, and a strong relationship with people. We do all this while respecting the age and development of each Spaniel.
By the time our Spaniels go home, they aren’t just well-bred. They’re mentally ready, emotionally confident, and set up to succeed with their new families in the field and in everyday life.
That foundation is what allows dogs like Flush to step right into hunting season and thrive.
Building a Strong Bond
One of the most rewarding aspects of training is the bond that forms between the dog and owner. It’s not just about hunting; it’s about trust and understanding. When Flush runs through the fields, he’s not just chasing birds. He’s also building a relationship with Casey and Jessica.
This bond is crucial for any dog, especially for flushing breeds. They thrive on connection. A strong relationship means better communication, which leads to better performance in the field.
The Importance of Training
Training is essential for every dog, but it’s especially vital for hunting breeds. Flush has received the training he needs to excel. He’s learned the basics, but he’s also been exposed to real hunting scenarios. This experience is invaluable.
Training isn’t just about commands. It’s about teaching dogs how to think on their feet. Flush will encounter unpredictable situations in the field. Thanks to his training, he’ll know how to respond.
The Joy of Hunting Together
There’s something magical about hunting with your dog. It’s a shared experience that deepens your bond. Flush and Casey will create countless memories together. Each hunt will be an adventure, filled with excitement and challenges.
Imagine the thrill of watching Flush flush out birds. The joy of a successful hunt is unmatched. It’s not just about the game; it’s about the journey.
Thank You, Casey & Jessica
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Casey and Jessica. Your commitment to Flush and our Craney Hill Spaniels means the world to us. We’re excited to see where this journey takes you both.
By the way, Flush is the all liver face, just like his daddy Chance.
