Our Treasured Memories with Art, Julie & Holly The Cocker!

Forever Grateful!

We met Art and Julie many moons ago, but it feels like yesterday. Time flies by so fast, and it feels like only yesterday when we were living in Illinois and contemplating relocating to South Carolina or Georgia. During that phase, Julie was considering a new puppy. Her dilemma was whether to choose the Cocker we had for sale or a Lab someone else had available. In the end, she got Holly, an adorable Cocker Spaniel, whom we call Hollywood. It's heartwarming to know that their purchase of this adorable little black Cocker helped build our friendship.

Art and Julie have graciously opened their hearts and home to us, welcoming us into their incredible family. Over the years, we have created countless memories that we will cherish forever. One standout moment for Christina which she will never forget is when Art took her deer hunting at their place in South Carolina. It was an incredible experience, and Christina shot her first deer under Art’s guidance. It was a moment of pure exhilaration that Christina will forever hold close to her heart.

Recently, Art and Julie sent us a video of little Holly, who is now eleven years old. In the video, we see her eagerly retrieving a duck. It is incredible to witness how far she has come and to see how much she has developed. Her enthusiasm and dedication remind us of the joy that animals bring to our lives.

Art and Julie's unwavering support and friendship have left an indelible mark on our hearts. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their lives and to have shared such precious moments. Their kindness and generosity are truly admirable, and we continue to cherish the deep bond we have created.

Thank you, Art and Julie, for being such incredible friends and for opening your home and hearts to us. We are forever grateful for your unwavering support and the countless memories we have created together.

Hugs, Christina & Todd

Art with my cocker Jack..

This is a funny story! One Grouse season Art, Julie, and Holly drove up to Wisconsin at the time we were doing most of our Grouse and Woodcock hunting up that way, until the ticks drove us away. Anyway, Art ran Holly in the woods on Grouse and Woodcock but she was young and was getting tired. So we decided to take our young cocker Jack out to hunt, which was at the time Christina’s dog.

So we start hunting on this beautiful path and Jack is running in the woods and doing a great job. Jack starts to get birdy and Art starts going up the hill after Jack well pretty soon the both of them are now gone, we can't catch up.. Soon we hear a few shots in the distance and then it was quiet. By now we are finally catching up and here comes Art with Christina's dog Jack with a Grouse in hand.

We always tease Art because he loves to talk to the dogs when he is hunting and one of his famous lines is "My Way". He likes to say "Holly my way", like Art is going to show the dog where the birds are. You crack us up Art!

There are many more stories like this one to be told. Our hearts are full of gratitude for each of them.
